Martin Luther is the best soul-rock artists out there, period. Going back
10 years ago when the band started out and was called
"Aloosanation" Martin devloped his own brand
of soul called Rebel Soul Music- Funk Soul music with an edge. Back then
the line up was Martin Luther (vox) Omega Rae (Vox) C. Holiday (Vox)
Trae Rabb (Guitar, vox) Randy Emata (Keys) Alan Lightner (Perc) Dante McClinton
(Drums) B'nai Rebelfront (guitar) and Uriah Duffy (bass). The band
played for years like this before becoming "Martin Luther & The
Real". This band was so soulful and dynamic they left all
who've seen them amazed and thankful for the experience. Folks like Eric
Benet and Jill Scott made the mistake of having
this band "open" for them. After exhausting the audiences, ML
was never asked to open again. ML & the Real played on like this on
both coasts until ML started touring as a member of The Roots in
2004(ish). The other band members went on with their own carrers, playing
gigs and touring with various acts sometimes performing together on the
same gigs.
This Friday, B'nai, Uriah and Martin will once again share
the stage, with more current members Brian Collier on drums
and Kev Choice on keys.

talented soul with flavors of Prince, P-funk and his biggest influence,
Donnie Hathaway. Angeline

Eric martin is one of the best rock singers of our time. The best rock singers
have soul in 'em, and Eric is no stranger to this. With huge hits like "To
Be With You" Eric's had a huge career headlining mega-domes and the
like with his band Mr. Big (with Billy Sheehan and Paul
Gilbert). He's now back home in the SF Bay Area rockin' his own
tunes with a band that features Tal Morris on guitar and Uriah Duffy on
bass.

op... I was asked by Toni Tony Tone's managment to do a few shows with em
comin up in september. I didn't get back to em in time due to the fact I
was camping! I miss playin' with this group, so keep lookin out if they
call me again! Funky!
